The Compendium
Every species in nature falls into one of ten kingdoms. Each has its own character, its own colour, and its own story to tell.
The Biomes
Thirteen habitats that shape every species in the compendium — from ancient broadleaf cathedral to wind-scoured moorland to the Cape's fynbos slopes. Each biome is a world unto itself.
About Radiant Wild
A living compendium where human curiosity and the natural world converge.
Radiant Wild is a collectible field guide for the modern age — part Victorian botanical catalogue, part storytelling project, part data visualisation. Each species receives its own hand-illustrated card with a first-person narrative, a Radiance Score, and seven vital statistics that capture everything from ecological role to cultural fame. The result is a growing library that reveals not just what a species is, but what it does, what it means, and why it matters.
Nature is extraordinary in its utility, its diversity, and its quiet generosity. A single fungus can break down an entire fallen oak. A handful of superfoods have sustained civilisations for millennia. A moss no bigger than your thumbnail can hold twenty times its weight in water. Radiant Wild exists to make these stories visible — and to make the threats facing them impossible to ignore. Every species card carries data on the pressures it faces, from habitat loss and climate change to pollution and overexploitation, because understanding what we stand to lose is the first step toward protecting it.
Behind each card is a partnership between human editorial judgement and AI-assisted research. Stories are written with personality and warmth; statistics are gathered, cross-referenced, and visualised with care. The seven-bar scoring system gives every species a visual fingerprint — no two look alike. And the ecosystem web that connects them mirrors the real interdependencies of the natural world, reminding us that no species exists in isolation.
Radiant Wild is the third pillar of the Radiant ecosystem, alongside Radiant Mind and Radiant Jones — a triad built on the belief that the most meaningful technology sits at the intersection of Human, A.I., and Nature.
